Many things have been going on recently, that's why today's topic is broad.
1. Relationships
Loving doesn't hurt, loving the wrong ones hurts.
Never have I understood this quote as I do now.
Imagine making every effort into taking care of someone, trying to make them happy just to receive bitter fruits.
Sometimes it's reality to receive nothing or maybe worse after we've tried our best.
Personally, I think life is all about knowing what to care and what not to care, imagine knowing what you need to avoid and use those saved time for what you truly love, truly enjoy.
In some cases, it's much more better to stay single than to draw yourself into relationships just because others're not single.
A thing I've learnt after all is that: trust the timing of your life.
Why was I and why are we so impatient in our lives? We all need love, but "the one" isn't necessarily the only to give you love, to make you feel that you're loved.
If you think that you'll be happy or completed after you've found your soulmate, may be it works, but may be it's not the best way.
Since happiness is state of mind, you don't need to wait to be happy, close your eyes, fuck negative things and think of amazing things. Then slowly, but surely, smile.
2. Inequality
We all have the same rights to live and to be educated, but every one of us is born in different background, which lead to different lives.
It was now that I realize how hard life around the world is. No matter how developed a nation is, there will always be people struggling to get food, shelter, hygiene, the most basic needs of humans.
They all have their own dream, but how can you dream of being a teacher, travelling around the world, being a Youtuber when all you've been doing is trying to put food on the table? There is no way you can think of it. Changes are happening, but I want it to happen faster.
As technology develops, with the appearance of social medias and smartphones, we tend to be more indifferent these days. We live individually as a group. As Jon Jandai said in his TED Talk: "I feel like this is the most uncivilized time of the human evolution".
We can't call the world a developed place when some of us are still out there struggling.
When will every nation be a "Finland"?
3. Fuck the society
We always care about what others think and say about us.
We're changing ourselves into someone else just to "fit in".
We compare ourselves to someone that we think "is better than us" and try our best to fit in that cookie cutter.
The problem is why fit in?
We aren't born to be the same, we're not supposed to "live for anyone", we're here for ourselves first.
It took me relatively a year to truly understand that deeply.
It weren't the qualities that make somebody respectful, but mainly because they're themselves.
To keep your voice in this world is not easy as you might think, that's why I really admire the ones who can stand out to be themselves, to get through the tough times toward the door to success.
They're people who vlogged, livestreamed before "vlogging" or "livestreaming" is even a thing.
Sometimes people don't understand what you say because they're idiots. So don't argue with them, people won't know the difference.
Life is all about knowing what to remove and knowing what to keep, this works both for self developing and for people you communicate with.
